Calvary Baseball 2012 Regular Season

     The Lion's had one of the most remarkable seasons any baseball player could ask for. Coming into the season they were almost unheard of, and by the end, teams from all over Southern California know who "Calvary Christian" is. They may have had a historic season last year, but they have plenty of work to do this year. Here are the Lion's 2012 season's highlights...


Won CIF Championship
Ranked 2nd in the State of California (D5)
Finished 15-5 versus higher division schools (D1-D4)
Winning percentage of .600 in both the Pirate-Falcon and North County Tournaments
Won the Lion's Tournament (undefeated)
The pitching staff finished 5th in the nation in strikeouts.
Won league for the second year in a row
Undefeated in league play for the second year in a row
Undefeated against D-5 opponents
Broke a 17 year-old CIF record for triples in a game (7 vs. Ocean View Christian)
